Charcoal Grilled Tilapia |
Ingredients: 4 Tilapia fish fillets Juice of one lemon or lime 1 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp. turmeric powder 1 tsp. red chili powder or paprika 1 tbsp. coriander powder 1/2 tsp. cumin powder 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala Salt, to taste 1 Tbsp. cooking oil Directions: Rinse and dry the fish fillets. Make slits in the fish and marinate in a little salt with lemon or lime juice for 10 minutes. Meanwhile mix together ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder or Paprika, coriander powder, cumin powder, Garam masala, and salt with oil; apply this paste to each of the fillets. Place in refrigerator for about 2 hours. Place fillets in a grill basket for easier turning. Grill about 4-5 minutes; turn the fish on the other side and let it cook for another 4-5 minutes or till golden brown. The real secret to grilling is not to overcook them. Watch closely as you cook the fish. Makes 4 Servings |
